For 2 Cups of
Almond date Milk:
1 cup Water
1 cup oz Milk or water(if you want it to be vegan)
2 tablespoons Blenched Almond powder(Costco)
6 -7 dates (seedless)
1\4 tsp Cardamom powder
Pinch of saffron(optional)
Mix all the ingredients in a pot and boil for 3-4 minutes with occasional stirring.
Take it off of the stove and cover it and let it cool to just warm.
Blend it in Vitamix or any blender. If you wish you can screen it, but if you are using Vitamix or Blendtec, screening is not needed.
Enjoy it in breakfast or post workout healthy drink.
I make this almost every day and enjoy after my yoga class. My kids drink this milk with their breakfast.
